Install Speaker.bot
In this section we will configure our Text-to-Speech API and choose our voice for the bot. You may consider using a program such as Virtual Audio Cable to route this into OBS on its own dedicated channel.
Download and install Speaker.bot from https://speaker.bot
- Open Speaker.bot
- Navigate to Settings --> Accounts --> Twitch.
- Click Login to go to your default browser.
- Login to Twitch and Authorize the permissions.
- Navigate to Settings Speech Engines
- Click the Google Cloud tab.
- Click the … button and then select your JSON file you downloaded from Google Cloud
- Click the Google button to sign-in
- If you did this correctly, the Google button will be disabled.
- Navigate to Voice Aliases
- Type a name for your voice alias (should be based on the voice you intend to use)
- Click Add
- Choose the appropriate output device for this voice.
- Under voice, choose the voice you would like to use.
- Click on Test Voice to make sure everything is working properly.
- Navigate to Settings General.
- Check the box for Enabled.
- Make sure the overall proper Output device is selected. Different voices can be routed to different audio channels, but default actions will flow through the device set in general.
